compensation, direct, indirect, special or consequential arising

of products shown on this web site and also available for download
are based on test conditions carried out by the original manufacturer.

the power supply, the environment and installation conditions.

Colours
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on the web site. However, as the actual colors you see will depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will be accurate.
Prices and Availability of Products
These are subject to change without notice. Prices are displayed exclusive of Value Added Tax and the tax computation for VAT is shown during the shopping process before any payment details are requested.
Contract
Any order placed through the use of this web site is an offer
to purchase. Acceptance of any offer to purchase is only fulfilled
when The Lightbulb Company (UK) Ltd sends a VAT invoice by email
to the offeror. Any email sent to a customer acknowledging receipt
of order or payment is for customer courtesy only.
If we are unable to fulfill your order request, we will advise
you promptly and issue a prompt refund.
Delivery
All orders (subject to stock availability) are normally dispatched within 48 hours. Orders received before 4.00 pm are normally dispatched the same day. Orders received on Bank Holidays, Saturdays or Sundays will be dispatched on the next business day. If we are unable to dispatch within this period we will contact you to arrange a mutually agreed alternative date. If we cannot agree another date, we will issue a full refund of the purchase price.
Please note that most orders will require a signature on delivery. Please ensure that you provide a delivery address where someone will be available between 9.00 and 17.30 Monday to Friday to accept delivery. If our couriers are unable to deliver an order due to the address being unmanned, a card will be left asking you to contact them directly to arrange re-delivery. If no contact is made within 2 days the order will be returned to us and a re-delivery charge may be levied to cover our re-delivery costs.
Returns Policy

Return a Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Item:
What to do if you've received a damaged, defective or incorrect item from The Lightbulb Company. This returns policy does not affect your legal rights. -
If the item was damaged in transit:
If your delivery has been damaged in transit, you can return the item(s) to us within 7 days of receipt for exchange. Please e-mail our customer service department at (customerservices@thelightbulb.co.uk) who will arrange to replace the damaged goods. -
If the item is defective (within 30 days of receipt)
You have the right to return a faulty item. Please keep your invoice / delivery note number as this may be needed should there be a fault. In the unlikely event that you have a faulty item, Please e-mail our customer service department at (customerservices@thelightbulb.co.uk) who will arrange to replace the defective goods or arrange for a full refund -
If you have ordered the wrong goods (within 7 days of receipt)
As soon as you find out you have ordered an incorrect item, please e-mail our customer service department at (customerservices@thelightbulb.co.uk) for a Returns Number. Please ensure the item is still in its original packaging, has not been used or installed and is fit for resale. Send the incorrect item back to us quoting this reference number and we will arrange to refund you the item excluding the delivery charge. We may also apply a handling charge if the item was a special order.
Indemnification
The Lightbulb Company (UK) Ltd does not contemplate any use of
this web site other than for the purpose of proper and legitimate
use to determine information about the products and services offered
and to make purchases of these products in accordance with our
Terms of Business.
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold The Lightbulb Company (UK)
Ltd harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, costs
and expenses arising from or related to your use of this web site.
Cancellation of Purchase
If you are dissatisfied with your purchase for any reason please contact Customer Support on 01869 362222 between the hours of 8.30 am and 5.00 pm GMT Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) or by email at support@thelightbulb.co.uk who will be pleased to arrange a full refund of the purchase price, within a maximum of 30 days, subject to the following:-
You must notify us of your wish to cancel within 7 days of receipt of delivery of the goods purchased.
You must return the goods unused and in good condition in their original packaging.
You are responsible for the return carriage costs.
Data Security & Privacy Policy
Security is very important to us as it is to you. We recognize that you trust us to keep your personal data safe and only to use it responsibly for the purposes of providing you with a service. To keep your personal data safe, all orders are transmitted to us using 128 bit encryption for your complete peace of mind. This security is extended to your personal account pages also.Credit card details are not stored by The Lightbulb Company (UK) Ltd, but by WorldPay (part of The Royal Bank of Scotland Group), it is they who will hold your details so you can be assured of credit card safety.
We will restrict the use of your personal data to process internet orders, keep you informed of your order status and keep you informed of any special offers that you may be interested in from time to time.
We can assure you that we will never sell your details to any other company or third party, without your explicit consent.
